Stop me if you've heard this one before... A Marine officer falls overboard during a battle with some pirates. He's a Devil Fruit user, so he can't swim and has to be rescued by a deckhand. When he's back aboard his ship, he thanks the deckhand and asks how he can best repay his underling for saving his life. The deckhand looks sheepish as he replies. "I think the best reward would be keeping it a secret, sir," he says, "If the other fellows knew I pulled you out, they might push me in!" Dahahahaha!

[Once, just that would've been enough to impress him. Pirate captains are a big deal, after all. But after Bluejam and stories of enemy pirates from his bros, Sabo's more careful now.

For someone who saved my brother's life? Sure there is. [And being the politest of the trio, you deserved nothing less.] Oh, good! Then I guess we'll meet after Ace drags you back home from the bar.

[ shanks looks thoroughly amused by this tiny child. ] I guess we will. You live with him and Marco?

Yep! They told me I got your old room. You can have it again, if you want!

No, it's alright. It's your room now, you shouldn't have to move out of it. Plus, I don't think Marco would want me living with him fulltime.

I could always crash in Ace's room, y'know! It's not like I need that much space anyway. [Being tiny works sometimes.] But, huh. That's true about Marco...

Well, that's fine then! You can stay over while you're looking for a place of your own. I'm sure Marco won't mind that much.
